Good morning, Michael and all GNs. Cold here, too, Mick. I wish I’d stayed in bed playing scrabble!! Food shopping today and some ironing, then picking up GS from school later. Off to make a coffee now. Have a good day, folks.

Morning Mick. Morning All. Dark, damp and cold in our corner of Somerset. Wide awake early today, goodness knows why. Need to oversee carpet cleaning then off out for lunch. Hope the rain stops. Stay warm and well everyone.

Morning greyd

Morning Mick Greyduster and All.

Dark and very cold here in the SE.

I assume Greyduster that it must be possible to play Scrabble online as I can’t imagine how one would juggle with all the tiles in bed ?

Off to collect the latest Ely Griffiths book from our bookshop. Can’t wait to get started on it.

Enjoy your lunch Cornergran ?

Greyduster Thu 08-Feb-18 06:47:26

Morning corner, enjoy your lunch! NanKate grin yes pesky things, scrabble tiles, if they get lost under the duvet grin!

Morning all!

It's very cold here in North Leicestershire. I have Sainsbury's today and we have to go and vote on the village plan - apparently if we agree it no more houses can be built in our village.... and, if you believe that, you'll believe anything.

Enjoy your days whatever you are doing.

Marydoll Thu 08-Feb-18 06:56:50

Good morning all,
Dry here for the moment and not as cold as yesterday.
We have DGD today, but not sure what we will be doing, as MR MDoll has a bad cold and feeling very sorry for himself.

ninathenana Thu 08-Feb-18 07:18:15

Morning all
From a frosty, cold Kent.
A day out somewhere ?? with our visitors today.

harrigran Thu 08-Feb-18 07:33:29

Good morning, not quite so cold today but still in bed. Quiet morning planned and then we shall see.
Yesterday was not the most pleasant day so things can only get better.

JaneD3 Thu 08-Feb-18 07:34:06

Lovely pink sunrise here in Leicester. That’s all I can see from bed grin

Greyduster Thu 08-Feb-18 07:50:53

Take it easy, harri.

ginny Thu 08-Feb-18 08:15:26

Good morning all.
Off to the play warehouse today with DGS2. We’ be had a video message frimmDD3 and he is running around calling for us, very excited. Grandad loves it too as he gets to ride the electric cars with him.

Good morning from a sunny, frosty Colchester. Gransnet meetup in Wanstead today.

Gagagran Thu 08-Feb-18 08:24:07

Morning everyone! It's another cold and frosty morning here on the south coast but a blue sky and the sun is up. Glorious winter's day!

We're back from the supermarket shop and I am now having some porridge as a change from my usual weekly treat of a crusty roll and honey.

Hope the day is a good one for all GNs. sunshine

NfkDumpling Thu 08-Feb-18 08:39:23

Morning All

A glorious, cold, still, sunny but very frosty morning in the north of Norfolk. I'm regretting changing my tomorrow's art class to this morning so we can meet up with friends tomorrow. DH is off birding at our local reserve. I'm want my cake and eat it too!

NannyJan53 Thu 08-Feb-18 08:42:21

Good Morning all,

Cold and frosty here too in the Black Country. I am having a 'go with the flow' day as nothing planned. May have a walk into town for a few 'bits and bobs' and there is always the ironing smile.

I am following the 16:8 plan of eating, so no breakfast until 10.00am!

Have a good day everyone.

Anniebach Thu 08-Feb-18 08:57:40

Good morning all

mollie Thu 08-Feb-18 08:58:55

Morning Mick and all

Frosty and bright here. Staying in bed and playing scrabble sounds like a lovely idea - now why didn’t I think of that? Oh yes, because I’m the human alarm clock that gently wakes the OH with coffee because he’s got to go to work...well, someone’s got to do it grin.

Big dilemma of the day: do I go in one direction to get the wild bird food and the library books or in the opposite direction and get some supermarket shopping and my favourite chocolate? Decisions, decisions...

Have a good day everyone.

appygran Thu 08-Feb-18 10:20:53

Good morning all. Dry and bright here in Chester. Coffee with widowed friends this morning then I thought I might try my first visit to the cinema alone. I keep telling myself I can do this. Hope you all have a good day.

Mapleleaf Thu 08-Feb-18 10:35:23

Morning everyone,
Grey and cold but dry here - not as bright as yesterday.
Try to take it easy today, harrigran - bet you are glad it's over with.
A walk to the papershop soon to pay the paper bill, so hope it stays dry.
Have a good day. ?
