Just getting ready for our weekly supermarket trip and it feels warm and wet but can't see if it is yet. It was "monsoon rain" yesterday here on the south coast so I hope we have some sun today.

Morning All. It’s not raining in our corner Somerset, sky looks fairly clear. Didn’t stop yesterday so still very, very wet outside. Taking Mr C for physio, otherwise not much planned. Stay warm and dry everyone.

After a wet and windy night it's dry now with high scudding clouds. No idea how cold it is but I shall find out shortly as I'm off to pick up two DGC from two different families for a sleep over tonight. Taking them swimming this morning.

Need to walk off the delicious lamb shanks from last night. Meeting up with a friend for coffee, mustn't be tempted by the tiny pastries in the Italian coffee shop.

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. The sun is shining in South Yorkshire and it is set to be a dry day. DH has an absolutely stinking cold so I will be doing the school run in my own today. I hope he manages to shake it off before half term starts and, more importantly, doesn’t pass it on to me! Have a good day, folks.

Damp in Kent after the rain that started at 3pm yesterday and was still at it when I went to sleep last night. The sun is trying to poke through now.

Off to Glasgow meet DD and her fiancé for lunch. I hope I don't fall asleep after a glass of wine.

Sunny and bright here too! I am off for a walk this morning with a U3A group. They usually finish with a coffee and/or lunch somewhere after.

Good morning from a milder than of late Colchester. Hope it stays dry as I have my garden cushions on the line....the waterproof box they live in mysteriously lost it's lid overnight?

Good morning, woke to bright sunshine which is now being replaced with rain clouds.
Lunch out was rather spoilt yesterday, the heating had broken down and it was freezing cold and snowing at one point. A small electric radiator, in a very large room with thick stone walls, did not work.

A contrast to yesterday, with sunshine and no rain/sleet. Not as windy, either.
I came down this morning to the extractor fan merrily whirring away at full throttle! Goodness knows how that happened, I didn't use it at all yesterday. I did wipe around it though, but it was definitely off. Very strange...
