Good Morning Mick and everyone.

It's dry but overcast here on the south coast and I am not yet adjusted to the hour change. It must cost a fortune to change all the clocks twice a year nationwide.

Uber Grandad has to pick up DGD at 8.15 this morning to drop her at the train. She is 16 and longing to learn to drive as soon as she can . We look forward to that day too!

Hope the day is a good one for all GNs sunshine

Morning Mick, morning all.

It's quite bright in North Leicestershire and we have nothing much planned except a bit of gardening and a roast chicken!

Enjoy your Sundays everyone.

Morning gaga!

ninathenana Sun 25-Mar-18 07:42:17

Morning all.

A bit foggy here in Kent. H will be going the allotment and I will not be doing much except cooking roast for this evening.
Have a good day everyone. I wonder how many forgot their clocks smile

MawBroon Sun 25-Mar-18 07:58:36

Good morning everybody it is misty here in N Bucks and I have no commitments today so I am ignoring the clock change and going to attempt to acclimatise myself gradually! grin

ginny Sun 25-Mar-18 08:02:46

Good morning.
Overcast in N. Bucks this morning.
DH is off to help DD1 and SIL rip up a floor and I will follow on later with tonight’s dinner.
Will also do some preparation for a trip away at Easter.
Happy Sunday all.

Morning All. Light cloud in our corner of Somerset. Hope to do some gardening later as long as I don’t sink into the mud. Hope Sunday is kind to everyone.

Marydoll Sun 25-Mar-18 08:31:36

Good morning all, the sun is shining here and the temp is definitely up a bit.
We have had DGD overnight and I hardly slept, as she has manged to escape from her cot twice. She even had the nerve to tell me that she would show me how she did it.grin
A bit of gardening and a rest today!

HAZBEEN Sun 25-Mar-18 08:34:11

Morning everyone, Its bright and sunny here in the NE. I am off home today after just over 2 weeks staying with my daughter. Should be back home by teatime. Its been a bit of a trial what with my Fathers funeral and everything else but am looking forward to settling in my favourite chair tonight with the cat and my OH bringing me tea!

NanKate Sun 25-Mar-18 08:35:20

Morning Mick Kitty and All.

Brighter sky today and dry in South Bucks.

Just updated the time on our new phone system, then the microwave followed by the oven. DH is left to do all the clocks in the house. It’s officially the start of summer, what happened to the Spring ? ?

Pork for us today and half of a delicious apple tart which comes with the M and S £10 meal.

NannyJan53 Sun 25-Mar-18 08:37:10

Good Morning all

Bright and sunny here and definitely warmer!

Children do make you laugh Marydoll, my 6 year old was watching a Horrible History programme on TV the other day, and every time they mentioned a fact she said "I know all this!" smile

Taking Mum to the theatre this afternoon (part of her birthday present) for music from Gilbert and Sullivan.

Have a lovely Sunday everyone.

Nelliemoser Sun 25-Mar-18 08:40:37

Good Morning All. Sunny here in south Cheshire. Frost on the ground right now. But it looks good.

Sar53 Sun 25-Mar-18 08:42:29

Good morning from a bright and sunny Midlands. A lazy day mostly, DGD2 has a party later and the rest of us are out for lunch. Hope the two year old is on her best behaviour smile.
Hope it's a good day for all.

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. Bright sunshine in South Yorkshire this morning. We are off to junior football later - the match that was cancelled last week when we were up to our ockers in white stuff. What a difference a week makes! Roast chicken for lunch ?. Have a good day, folks.

Anniebach Sun 25-Mar-18 09:24:58

Good morning all

Pittcity Sun 25-Mar-18 09:41:17

Good morning from a grey skied Colchester. I had a Sunday lie in and am eating breakfast at the time I would normally be on mid morning coffee. I will carry on with this lazy Sunday apart from some ironing and Roast Beef!

Baggs Sun 25-Mar-18 09:43:11

Morning, folks! Sunny again. Yesterday's coffee morning in aid of the local day care centre went well. Today I and two other grans are off to Glasgow to do a "Curious about Glasgow" walk and to eat cake.

Happy days, dudes!

Nanos Sun 25-Mar-18 09:51:18

Good Morning!
I am new to Gransnet and looking forward to joining in with you all. So refreshing to read about normal everyday life out there. It is so easy to believe that everyone else is doing challenges, having make overs and travelling the world.
I am so relieved that some of us adore time with our grandchildren, reading and having coffee with friends. Having recently retired, I am now going to stop feeling guilty and enjoy my retirement! Thank you Gransnet!

Bellasnana Sun 25-Mar-18 10:15:16

Good morning all, and welcome Nanos.

The weather in Malta is still not very good. I’m fed up with the clock change as I already did it two weeks ago when I was staying with DD2 in the US. Like Maw, I’m in no rush to do anything.

This popped up on Facebook and I thought it was quite apt grin

Have a good Sunday, gransnetters.

Marydoll Sun 25-Mar-18 10:26:41

Baggs, is this an official walk or are you doing your own thing? It sounds interesting. My DD and I are always looking for things to do in Glasgow.
