Good morning Mick it looks quite bright and dry here in South Bucks too.

Off to take some books to the charity shop and have a browse round the library. I want a new book to read.

Good morning

Dry at the moment, but rain is due.

Bit of housework I think. Steam and polish parquet which I hate doing.
Might finish off some hellebores I’ve been painting. Then start a new book sat waiting for me.
Isn’t retirement lovely?

Planning a long walk in the sun which is forecast and our first picnic lunch for tomorrow.

Red Mullet for supper

Morning Mick, morning Kate, morning all.

It's pouring in North Leicestershire and I am having a fasting blood test - I have remembered to fast today. blush

This afternoon I am helping at the Alzheimer's Society roadshow in the market place. The forecast isn't looking good - hey ho!

Good luck with the hunt for a book Kate - I either have piles waiting to be read or none,

Morning ww!

Situpstraight Wed 04-Apr-18 07:20:23

Dull and cloudy here, puppy sitting day today, so off to wade through flooded fields, again.
Have a good day everybody.

Good Morning everyone! Still no sun here on the south coast and it looks damp. The forecast is for strong wind and showers today - great joy!

I am still feeling discombobulated after a vivid dream where I couldn't find my car in a car park. I hate those dreams - they feel real and so panic inducing!

Hope the day is a good one for all GNs sunshine

Good morning from sunny Colchester. The temperature is reaching double figures too.
Into town for weekly meetup and a few errands.

Marydoll Wed 04-Apr-18 07:41:36

Sleet and rain here, not venturing out.
We have DDG today and gas service. Off to make scotch pankakes for DGd's breakfast. Unfortunately, I have made a rod for my own back, as she now expects them, every time she visits.
Have a good day all.

N. Bucks is dry this morning but a bit breezy.
Going to Centre patch for the day with DD3 and DGS2. To join DD1 and DGS1. Looking forward to riding the rapids with the latter !

harrigran Wed 04-Apr-18 07:49:52

Good morning from a very wet north east.

My hairdresser is coming this morning and then I will have passport photo taken, that should be good for a laugh.

Looks like a fine day here fingers crossed! I am on the Sussex coast at the foot of the South Downs and so we often get shielded from rain. I am not retired yet so I will be at work today.
Hope everyone has a great day

Good morning from a damp west Lancashire. Yesterday afternoon brightened up and the lighter evening cheered me up.
Our visitors arrive this lunchtime, I'm putting a casserole in slow cooker for dinner and changing beds this morning. Better get started.
Have a good day everyone.

Chinesecrested Wed 04-Apr-18 08:16:15

Hi Everyone, it's bright and dry here in Cressing, north Essex this morning - I wonder how long that will last! Having a bit of a lie in at the mo after traveling down yesterday from a citybreak in Liverpool over Easter. What an amazing place! I'd never been there before! Heartily recommend it to anyone wanting ages days away. But for now? (Snore!)

Chinesecrested Wed 04-Apr-18 08:17:42

Wanting a few days away (you don't have to go for ages!

Anniebach Wed 04-Apr-18 08:20:15

Good morning all

MawBroon Wed 04-Apr-18 09:14:32

Good morning from N Bucks.
Looking Springlike today and I am looking forward to coffee at the Nursery (the flowers sort) and then this evening, an early supper with friends before going to the live streaming of Macbeth from Covent Garden.
(I believe some other Grans are also going to that in their own parts of the country. Slightly curious feeling to know that we are experiencing it simultaneously!)

Greyduster Wed 04-Apr-18 09:20:05

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. It is a fine day in South Yorkshire - and I am still in bed!! I was so tired yesterday I went to bed at nine and woke up twenty minutes ago. Maybe a foray into the garden today - later though...... Have a good day folks.

Mapleleaf Wed 04-Apr-18 10:00:35

Good morning everyone,
It's dry for the moment here, and the sun keeps trying to shine, but the ground is still very wet and it looks like it could rain again at any moment.
You must have needed the sleep, Greyduster. Hope you feel better for it and are now raring to go ?.
