Morning all , bright but nippy out. I planted out seedlings yesterday and they have survived the night , it was for diversion from worry of OH in hospital , why admit him on a Friday when no one on duty to see him ?

Uniform grey skies in the north of Norfolk and very still.

We did opt for a sail yesterday before the rain reached us so today its caravan cleaning. The outside may get a final rinse by the looks of those clouds.

Good Morning everyone.

It's sunny again here on the south coast after a wet afternoon yesterday. We had the heating on for a bit too - it was distinctly chilly. Think today should be warmer.

DD and I enjoyed a walk round our nearby stately home gardens and had coffee there yesterday morning. We were planning the big family get-together at the end of the month and have come up with a plan which will hopefully suit all attenders.

Good morning everybody from a somewhat cooler corner of N Bucks but it has at least stopped raining.
I only got half way through treating the garden furniture with teak preservative yesterday before the heavens opened, I should have started first thing.
However off to Birmingham in a bit for a family lunch for DGS’s 8th birthday. How the time has flown since that sleepless night when I sat up with the phone beside me waiting for news, (which came around 4) and the happy memory of shooting up to Birmingham Women’s with Paw straight after work.

We are off to do a tour of garden centres today still in pursuit of the elusive euphorbia.

We had a lovely fondue last evening with DD1 her DH and 2 dgc. There is nothing new under the sun, is there. We used to have fondue parties back in rhe 70s.

Sunshine and clear blue skies prevail but just as so many of you are remarking the weather remains cool.
Just the ticket though for a stroll around the countryside, but with my leg playing up, perhaps a little car ride will have to suffice.
Best giving our coastal areas a wide birth now as they are getting rather busy,especially weekends.

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. A bright morning but we have had a lot of rain overnight. There is a farmers market in one of the local villages today, so we are going to build a visit to that into our walk later. No idea what will be for lunch today. Thinking caps on! Have a nice day folks.

Good morning from a grey skied Colchester. Plenty of rain yesterday and might be more today. No plans today so I am cleaning the oven! Probably messing it up later with roast chicken.

Good morning from an overcast, greyish day here in the South East. Had a lovely afternoon yesterday grandchildren came round and we spent a rainy afternoon watching Paddington 2, such a good film for children and adults alike, lots of laughs
