Stertraline and Tinnitus

Hi, has anybody suffered from this .I'm on day 5, and tinnitus has been very loud for three days. Im taking 25mg and thinking about stopping before it does any damage.

In this case study a woman developed tinnitus after starting the drug and it disappeared when she stopped. It is described as a rare side effect so I’d hot foot it the GP

Sertraline can be tricky when you start it, change dose or stop it. I wouldnt just stop it, speak to your GP. You dont need an appointment I wouldnt have thought, just ask for a call back if your gp does them (mine does)

Hi, Thank you for replying. I've got to wait until Thursday, if it's no better by then, I need to change to prozac.It's a shame because it's the first day I feel okayish, no nausea today, just tired .Thanks again.
