I know we’re not supposed to ask proper health questions but I’m panicking a bit here! About ten days ago I was cleaning the windows and climbed into the bath to get to the window. On the way I gave my calf bone a really hard crack on the sharp edge of the bath. I’m on chemo and aspirin for blood cancer so the expected huge ugly bruise came up and it was pretty sore. I was looking at my pale, ugly leg today and suddenly noticed a bony lump at the top of the bruise. It hurts a bit to press on it and it definitely feels bony.
I made the mistake of typing this into google and the ONLY thing that came up was bone cancer! Now I’m obviously panicking but I wondered if you lovely people could relate a similar tale which turned out to be nothing. I could spend an hour at 8 am tomorrow trying to persuade the receptionist to give me one of their gold dust appointments or I could try and go to a drop in centre miles away from us today. We are going abroad on 2 Jan and I would really like to have it sorted before then obviously. I do have a neighbour who is a nurse at our doctors but my H has expressly told me I shouldn’t bother her!
Anyone any advice or should I should get on with everything I have to do today and forget about it? Please?
