I have been doing this every day - I love the birds!

How I wish I could do it Luckygirl , can’t stand without holding on my trolley. But it was relaxing to watch and I too
loved the birds.

Thank you Lisagran. I will try it, hope not being able to
open my hands will affect it,

You could do it sitting down annie - just alter it to suit. It is very restful I find.

I have added that to my Favourites, thank you Luckygirl.

Thank you Luckygirl, looks good, I'm going to give it a try.

Ah, I used to join in with the Chinese neighbours who lived near my D in Oz. There were about 8 of us early morning around 7am before they went to work. It's lovely to see, and to hear the birds.

I was getting quite a dab-hand at it, so relaxing and calming. I haven't done it since though. It wouldn't be the same with the seagulls squawking overhead and someone's hens up the road all clucking at once----not exactly serene.

Theres a lot of Zumba on youtube, really good for cardio. Also, resistance bands are good to build muscle.

Vitamin D3 is a must for optimal health if you are deprived of natural sunlight

Please be careful with resistance bands - they should be used under proper supervision. I used one at an exercise class and pulled a disc out - you have been warned!

This is why I posted the link above - because it is gentle and strengthening without risk.

Wow @Luckygirl that sounds so painful! Sorry to hear that!

There might be guidance online for using them, like on youtube. I only use them for the physio exercises I was given, but I'd like to build up myself more.

Thank you Luckygirl
I did this today.
Some of the moves were very similar to yoga but without having to get down on the floor and try to get up again.

I would recommend Tai Chi. There are lots of Tai Chi sessions available on You Tube. Just find one you like as they do vary.

I have been doing a Tai Chi class and use a chair to steady me when necessary because my balance is poor. There are also sessions for those who can only sit.

It is a very gentle exercise, but when Michael Mosely measured all sorts of physical indicators when comparing it with a Zumba class it proved to be just as good for you physically and used as much energy.
