Red, you need to see your Dr about this. GN isn't the place.

Don’t waste time on here, speak to your GP.
It doesn’t matter what anyone else has to say about their experiences, you need to get advice about yourself, especially as you are already on pills from the Dr.

Please seek urgent medical advice.
Years ago my mother explained feeling that her heart stopped in the night and she would wake up . On testing she had problems with her heart rhythm and needed a pacemaker inserted.

Red, yes, of course you should see a doctor but I too am in a similar health situation and suspect your symptoms might be related to your current condition. Ask your GP for a bit of a health check reThyroid and review the blood pressure medication. Hope it works out for you.

Anxiety, that's all it is.

That may well be true EllanVannin but we can't make diagnoses on here. I would be more inclined to think it was related to thyroid problems.
See your Dr as soon as you can redsunking, take care.

Anxiety, that's all it is Good grief Ellan is there no limit to your arrogance?
You really think you can dismiss someone’s symptoms like that from a brief description without examining them?
If you were actually medically qualified you wouldn’t make such stupid observations.

OP you really need to heed the sensible advice the other posters have given you.

I agree with those who say, go to your GP.
It could be something serious such as sleep apnoea for which there's a treatment.
I think there was another thread about this recently

I did just that a few months ago, the thyroid medication was adjusted ( I needed it to increase in strength ) and those feelings of ‘heart stopping’ vanished.?
Definitely see your GP.

Anything to do with suspected heart problems need professionally checking out. I have problems with a racing heart, missed heart beats and heart flutters + hypertension!! At times all a bit alarming. I've had blood tests for the usual, but no obvious problems,so, its just a case of keeping a strict weather eye, and taking beta blockers when necessary. These can be tricky though as even the lowest dose taken too often can reduce heart rate too much!!
Never ever assume, always check if you're worried!

It’s fine to come on forums like this for support for a medically diagnosed condition, but this is not the place to be effectively saying “ These are my symptoms.
What does everyone think is wrong with me?”

You need to be properly assessed by a doctor who knows your medical history.

Nobody on here is qualified to answer you.
