HAS ANYONE HAD "INVERTED" LESION ON LEG

Is there a sore there or a scab or has it changed in appearance ?

There's no sore or scab. It's just redder than the surrounding skin and the exposed skin is dry and flaky.

I have no other skin lesions inverted like this

If it's changed in any way it seems to have got a bit deeper over time.

I’ve had two bad falls where the impact was in the same place on the top side of my thigh. It’s never looked the same since, there’s a sort of dent. I’ve never seen a doctor about it though, as it doesn’t cause me any pain though it was very painful when I fell the last time being last summer,

I've googled "inverted lesion" or similar and got nowhere.

The GPs seemed to have no idea what it was. It doesn't look like the cancerous type of lesion.

I don't it being there - I just want to find out what may have caused it and if I don't need to worry about it.

If many doctors and a hospital dermatologist have all look without being concerned I wouldn’t worry there’s often things with no explanation If I get an illness it is nearly always worse on the left side even a headacheM no explanation for that one either

I have a permanent bruise and slight dent where I have knocked my shin twice in same place.

It may be a scar from an injury (a burn, for example) or illness (eg, chickenpox) when you were too young to remember. Youthful skin doesn’t show scars so much, but as the skin ages, an old scar can show up as a dent in the skin. Being scar tissue, it may have a different colour or texture, and be more sensitive than the surrounding normal skin.
