???

That's for Teetime btw, not for you and your very helpful suggestion seacliff.
I will investigate. I know that our local U3A has put on some talks a few times.

Sounds good - nothing that I know of here in Leicestershire.
I must say my Diabetes Prevention Programme Zoom sessions on Thursday mornings must have got mixed up with the Cure for Insomnia sessions. wink

Thanks Jane. There seem to be some really good activities on here. www.royalvoluntaryservice.org.uk/virtual-village-hall/

The RVS virtual village hall has loads of activities and talks on the go. I don't have a link you people could Google it?

Like many people, I am feeling a bit down at the prospect of the winter ahead. I am trying to make coffee dates with friends etc, as none of my family are near. I'm a person who really likes/needs interaction with people to keep my spirits up. I can't walk far due to a hip problem and am not crafty, although I am, in desperation, considering having a go at simple cross stitch!.

I have just seen that our NHS Suffolk Wellbeing web site has set up a whole lot of Zoom online events this autumn. There are quite varied subjects, including history, books, art, relaxation, and just a chat. I'm not sure what they'll be like, but may be worth a look. I know they do a similar thing in Norfolk. Possibly they would be in other areas too.

Any other ideas?
