Put my big girl pants on and made a consolation appointment, next week by ‘phone, taken me long enough as I’m a scaredy cat. Can’t take omeprazole and cimetidine now withdrawn, gulping Gaviscon and quaking.

Jax I've no personal experience but my BIL had this surgery probably about 15 years ago with great success. He made a rapid recovery at the time and has not had any problems since.

Good luck to you jacksJacky I think the way you are feeling is normal there’s not a person out there who wouldn’t be feeling the way you are feeling about having anything done , my friend had one and is fine, I’m actually waiting to have a ct abdomen scan to do with very bad reflux getting pressure pain all over stomach and now into back, I am taking omperazole it’s doing zilch, you are doing the right thing, thinking of you love

How very kind TrendyNannie6 omeprazole does an ok job for me, but it dangerously lowers my sodium, so can’t take it, was taking Ranitidine, withdrawn, then Cimetidine, recently withdrawn. I’m sort of resigned, recently left some money from my late Mum, so going privately.
I really hope yours is diagnosed and treated soon, it’s miserable x
