I make turmeric latte, which is delicious.
You need a cup of milk, 0.5 to a full teaspoon of turmeric or turmeric latte spices, and a teaspoon or so of honey. You can add in some white chocolate mini buttons too if you want a really decadent drink ?
Put the milk into a Velvetiser if you have one, or a saucepan. Set the Velvetiser going, or start to heat the milk. Add in the turmeric/latte spices and whisk if it is in a pan - the Velvetiser will do its thing if it's in there. When the milk is warm, add the chocolate if using (do this a few at a time in the Velvetiser, so they don't clog the whisk), and when it is ready sweeten to taste with honey. I prefer to strain it through a tea strainer, as the spices don't dissolve, but that is a matter of taste.
I don't know if it helps with arthritis, as I haven't thought to make the connection (I have osteoarthritis in my knees), but I will try to notice if it makes a difference when I drink it. It is a really warming drink, though, whether for medicinal purposes or not.
