I have just started meditation I am hopingit will calm me down. The man's name is Professor Mark Williams and he is on You Tube. He has a wonderful voice.

Also look in google for meditations for a frantic world. I have sent for his book which includes a free cd with an eight week plan on for meditation.
Might be worth a try!

This is an awful and very real condition which is poorly understood. I'm a mental health nurse so I do have some understanding of BDD. You mention having CBD and I wonder if this is helping you with coping skills? If it's not, can you speak to someone at your mental health team? Sometimes people can find mindfulness a helpful coping tool. Or have you considered counselling? This might help you explore the root of the problem and ways to help you cope. Don't be alone - speak to someone about how you are feeling (pm me if you like) - there's absolutely no shame in this and you have been very brave to speak up and seek advice

I have no experience of BDD. So sorry to know your job interviews have aggravated your condition . Not in a position to offer guidance or advice but wanted you to know I am thinking about you. I wish you good fortune and hope you are bring offered appropriate treatment.

I haven't got BDD, but saw your post and thought I'd hold out a hand. I do have severe generalised anxiety disorder, and things like interviews or in fact any stressor sends my coping strategies way up the ladder so I really feel for you.

Have had this for decades.
Currently I’m applying for jobs & having interviews which has intensified the BDD to a chronic level.
Anyone else have this destructive condition?
I’ve had CBT, & i take AD’s.
