After being ventilated etc a few weeks ago I discovered that my long term bridge supporting two front capped teeth had been broken.
Went to the dentist last week and was told only solution was a new bridge. Given the option of porcelain attached to metal which is what I have now or a new all ceramic material which she says is very strong. The option she gave me is a composite material and costs only £55. Pounds more so price not really the issue. I have to decide. She says the ceramic will look aesthetically better! Well I am now 80 and don’t have a modelling contract. Has anyone else had to make this choice and were there any problems? Would be grateful for any input.
