Have you heard the news about children running up massive bills when using Apps? Do you know how to protect your laptop/Ipad when your grandchildren are around?

What is your favourite app?
I very rarely pay for apps but I've found Scrabble to be worth every penny.
The Kindle app is amazing, particularly as I can sync across several devices.

Beancounter I've no idea how to grandchild-proof mine, but I think I'd better find out. I was staggered to see GD1 toddle off to get dad's ipad from his home office the other day, turn it on and search for her favourite games! She's 22 months old!! shock

I like Jigidi, it is relaxing to sit and do an online jigsaw puzzle and clear the brain of intellectual over-stimulation. There are puzzles with a few pieces for children and puzzles with up to 500 or more - you need 20/20 vision to see all the pieces at once on the screen. I am happiest with 100 - 250.

Hi Waverley.
Jigidi is new to me, must try it.

Can anyone recommend a SIMPLE computer book for my many acquaintances with Ipads. Lots seem to struggle and I'm not the best of teachers, so sometimes I think my explanations dont really help.
Anything which particularly deals with photos would be particularly helpful - apart from emails, exchanging pictures seems to be the most popular activity for many.
