Hello, as the new Editor for the local Warwickshire site I would love to arrange a first meet up. I live in Stratford and yes the parking isn't great but some lovely places on the outskirts. The Boot at Lapworth is a nice idea, Crabmill in Preston Bagot another, any other venue suggestions. Hopefully we can arrange more meet-ups to cover wider areas in the near future. The week beginning 20th May looks good for me so far. How does this sound?

Great that would be nice even if it's only 3 of us. We may have one other interested, just waiting to hear back. I am free lunch time on Wed. 22 or Thursday 23 May. We could just have a drink/snack, whatever takes our fancy. How would these dates suit?

Looking forward to meeting up too. We have another Grandma named Helen who would lke to join us. She will have her 10 month old grand daughter with her. So whoever gets there first bag a table for 3 and pushchair space.

Lovely first meet up for Gransnet Local Warwickshire. Met 2 great ladies and 1 granddaughter. The time went really quickly and had lots to chat about. Hope we can meet again soon and look forward to welcoming some more new faces.

Time to meet up again. Let me know who is free early July. I know holidays will be looming but maybe we could grab a cup of tea and cake, with or without our grandchildren.

Hello Yesterdaysgirl, lovely to have a new visitor to our meet ups. Carluccio's always looks very inviting although I have never been! shocking I know. A few of us have also started going to Mary Arden's Farm when we have the grandchildren so maybe you could consider that one day if you have your grandson over. You could get the bus directly there I think.

I will see who we can get together for a local meet up. Any day in particular that suits you before I send out requests?

Hi am fairly flexible normally although I am involved in running Shipston Proms until 6th July after that it will be fine.

I must admit to not knowing much of Mary Ardens Farm although I did read something once ... do you know which bus goes there by any chance ... if not I will look on WWC site public travel section.

Aka asked if daytime or evening. I think evening would be quite nice, while we still have some lovely light evenings to sit outside. If we chose Carluccio's on Waterside in Stratford then we have the option to sit in or out if the weather changes. Apart from a couple of evenings I can be quite flexible. I will fire some dates out and see what you all think. Thursday or Friday evening 11th/12th July or 19th/20th July. How do any of these sound?

The no 50 buses are hourly ... the 10 27 gets me in for 10.52 ,11.40 in for 12.09 or if you mean meet later 12.39 in for 13.48, 13.35 in for 14.04 then gap 15.11 in for 15 40 with last bus home 18.25.

yesterday you ought to have square brackets somewhere, but you may have to search behind buttons for them
