We havent seen much sun in Bolton so far this year. I know this wonderful Bank Holiday has affected our behaviour , but do you think if you lived somewhere permanently sunny, you would be happier?

Yes the weather does have an impact on me especially the way I feel in a morning, I wake early when the birds are in full song and the mornings are light from about 5am and I can be far more active with an early start. I love spring and it is true it does put a spring in my step when I go out at 7am to walk my old lady dog. It sets us up for the day.
However getting up and getting out in the dark mornings of wintern does nothing for me.

Yes, increasingly as I get older, I feel the need for some light rather than the low cloud we seemed to have for much of 20 12. I have just had a couple of weeks in Greece, it was bliss to have bright blue skies, and sun. One morning last August, I opened the curtains to see yet another day of low grey skies, rain etc and had to stop myself closing them and getting back into bed. I have inflammatory arthritis, and definitely feel better in a warmer climate - but I love the north west.....

The weather definatly has a massive impact upon me and my hubby who has Rh ARth in his hands and joints. He loves the sun and we have said if we have another damp dark summer we will go off to the sun for a holiday. Trouble is it doesn't last and gets more expensive.
Why not pop across to Conwy forum for a bit of a chat we do have better summers in Llandudno believe it or not. smile
