I am delighted to welcome AgeUK Ripon to the North Yorkshire Gransnet forums and am looking forward to sharing the many fab events, courses and activities they organise in and around Ripon.
The NYorks forum is a place to discuss any local events and issues. Users have an anonymous user name and can contribute to any discussion about public or personal events without revealing their identity.
Gransnet Local also organise meet-ups for coffee and/or lunch, and many Gransnet users have formed lasting, supportive friendships offline as well as on the forums. Gransnet NYorks is only a couple of months old and the next meet up is 15th June in Northallerton, by winter I hope to have meet ups in Ripon and other locations across N Yorkshire and look forward to meeting you then.
