National debate about 'favourite' grandchildren!

I was listening to Women's Hour this morning and they mentioned a discussion about the problems of grand-parents having 'favourite' grandchildren. Some adults even said they can remember not being the favourite and they have always remembered it. I cannot imagine North Staffordshire grandparents, or any grandparents, hurting a child like this can you? They are all so beautiful and they all go through very attractive phases and sometimes mildly unattractive phases but we love them to bits, that's what we do! I'd be very interested to hear of anyone else's experience! I know men listen to Women's Hour too so it applies to us all!!!
