I always love Strictly, and the standard this year seems to be better than ever. Even most of those who struggle with the moves are entertaining. Susannah was amazing last week. Who do you think will win?

I love Strictly too and so enjoy the dancing. Sadly think that Tony Jacklin might go tonight but he is a bit of a moaner, keeps on about being 69 as if that is old, same as me... Yes unfit maybe but not too old.
Also my favourite at the moment was the Charleston with Sophie and the bad boy but it was fab-u-lous darling.
Love Susanna Read and think she is such a lovely personality.
Autumn weekends are the favourites on the telly, dancing and Downton what more could anyone want. Chocolate perhaps....smile

By the way, my Mum keeps saying Downtown is her favourite programme - I hear Petula Clark singing as she says it - that's giving my age away!

Petula Clark! She is still alive you know not that old. Nice to have you on the site I will return the compliment.
I am going to do a trip around the various sites but I don't know whose site belongs to who.
I would be nice to come across to Bolton for a trip out sometime not too far away.

I am completely in love with Brendan, so I don't care much about the celebs, I just want whoever is partnering Brendan to win grin
In the first week, I wasn't very hopeful as Sophie seemed to have 2 left feet, but Wow! did she impress this week with that fabulous Charleston!
The actress from Corrie (can't think of her name right now) is very good too.
The one person I want to GO is Vanessa Feltz. Can't stand her!

PS: Am I the only person in the world who has never seen an episode of Downton??

Oh I love Saturday and Sunday night telly when the dark nights are closing in. Wayfinder I have always loved the so called bad boy Brendon of the dance floor but what a great performance for the Charleston. Phew! However do like Susanne but whether she can win, not sure. But a lovely performance from the Natalie the girl from Corri however she might have a bit of trouble with the viewers because apparently she could dance before. However I could dance once but now have 2 left feet I put that down to a bad knee and ankle plus bad back..I could go on needless to say 'I am almost 70 like Tony Jacklin so probably wouldn't have entered. However when these dancers come on we can sit back and imagine it's us. I sometimes feel my feet shuffling around the floor whilst I slouch on the settee with a silly smile on my face.
Re Downton you are probably not the only one not watching but it is a lovely bit of fantasy but last night was a bit harrowing. So it is a mixture and think that's what makes it popular. It's worth getting the box set to catchup honest.
Silly smile grin

I have been 'rooting' for Sophie since day one, only because I have always liked her music and her Mum, Janet Ellis who used to be a presenter on one of the children's tv shows, I think it may have been Blue Peter. I'm not too keen on Susanna as I think her a bit pompous, but she is putting on a good show. Although I enjoy watching it I don't bother with the updates during the week, that would just be overload!!

Hello scottydownsouth I thought I recognised Sophie's mum. Yes I think she was a blue peter presenter. I like the updates whilst we are having our dinner. I know we shouldn't watch telly and eat but we have a telly in every room so what can you do when you are addicted to Strictly? thlgrin
