hi Grandparents out there! Fancy a chat? Or a Coffee and meet up? Please introduce yourselves in this forum and chat about anything you fancy!

Me...well I am local editor for GransnetBath (You might have guessed!), grandmother to 4 beautiful grandchildren aged 3 months through to 6 years (3 girls and 1 boy!). Sadly they all live some 250 miles from me so I dont get to see them often but do chat on the phone regularly and Skype as well as a few visits where possible.
I also manage three housing schemes in Bath for older people for my day job and love working with people and helping them to retain independence and getting them the services they need. Part of my role includes putting on social activities for them including getting them digital!!! (And hopefully following Gransnet!). We also have regular coffee mornings and social events which we would welcome non residents to - please drop me a line for more information at [email protected] if you fancy popping along!!

Hope to hear from you soon!

Hello Wallygrom! I live a dozen or so miles South of Bath but often travel in by car, then park and ride or,even better using my 'free' bus pass.
I have met up with Grans in Birmingham, Bristol and Exeter. The first two meetings were arranged before there was a Bath group. All meet-ups have been good fun!
I'll try to get along to one of your coffee mornings, who knows I may bring a cake!!!!!

You are always welcome and if you are interested in the goings on in Combe Down at the scheme, let me know and I will add you to a mailing list for our monthly newsletter so that you know when social activities and events are on! we had a very successful Children in Need Coffee Morning today raising £127 so very impressed! Am hoping to have more regular meet ups on scheme and locally to get grans to meet up......you will be pleased to know that we have a new editor for GNSomerset who hopes to arrange some meet ups for the new year! (weather permitting of course!)
Look forward to catching up with you soon!

Hi. I live just outside Bath. Moved to the area fairly recently and would love to get to know people locally. Just finished a full time job so have time to meet up.
