ive tried numerous vitamins and health products over the years and they havent improved my well being...i think they are a waste of money and the only people who benefit are the manufacturers and the shops that sell them at extortionate prices!!!!

Went into Lifestyle Pharmacy the other day to discuss this very thing. Do women of a certain age need supplements? After informed discussion came to conclusion exercise and good, varied diet best for health.
What I was most pleased about was that the pharmacist did not try to flog me anything. I can recommend this pharmacy _+ it never seems to be too crowded.

I have to say I never take supplements...I find that a varied diet with 5 a day and some nice oily fish regularly works for me. I agree that its manufacturers who appear to benefit however, some people do maintain they feel a benefit from taking say glucosamine for joints.....I am forever the sceptic I am afraid....we never had these years ago and I dont think we suffered any more then than now for it....

I take Vitamin B when I feel stressed and it really does help and make a difference.
