Is anyone else as depressed as I am about the growing amounts of litter on roadsides and verges? I have recently started picking up litter as a volunteer near where I live in East Cornwall, but it's only the tip of the iceberg. The Council has a responsibility for clearing litter but it faces a huge problem. Please consider picking up litter in your area - you can find more information on www.cleancornwall.org, or contact your local councillor for details of co-ordinators. There is also a national website: www.litteraction.org.uk. Every bit helps to make our county beautiful again.

I have picked up litter from the woods which I walk regularly. The stupid people who left it also left a couple of receipts in the same area and a l was able to trace them (ain't google great) to Bodmin. I was intending to dump it on their doorstep but in the end didn't think it would be worth it.
