GN Dorset is reasonably new, but we are starting to get some energy and information on the site now. The site will grow into a place for people to network and to arrange to meet up or keep in touch in or out of the forums.

if you know anyone who might be interested please let them know about us and help build our community.

Hi I am new to Dorset's gransnet, I live in Weymouth and would be interested to know if there are any other gransnet people here in Weymouth...because we are quite of the beaten track it is sometimes difficult without a car to get to the meet ups. There is the train, also the Jurassic bus, which would get us to Poole but getting to Bournemouth means another bus journey, all this is very time consuming.is it possible to have a West Dorset meet up, this way people in Lyme Regis etc could at least get to Weymouth. Dorset is a beautiful county but very sparse and spread out and the transport is quite poor. Anyone interested in this idea.

Hello there page, so glad you came to say hello! I hope others will come along and say hi too. A meet up in Weymouth sounds a good idea I hope others are interested.

Best wishes
