Thank you Anna. That sounds like a great idea, it should make up quite a comprehensive directory of places to go with children, especially as you have now opened it up to cover the whole of the UK. Really informative for anyone visiting family or holidaying within the UK.

Hi never2old,
I thought you might be interested to know that I've added a form to the website where you can give your own review of a favourite family day out. The more days out ideas we can all share the better, in my opinion!

So if you'd like to tell everyone about a great place that you've visited, I'd love to hear from you.

Hello Anna. It's a really good site for ideas of what to do and where to go with young children. We went to Burrs Country Park the other week after seeing it on your site. I didn't even know it was there. Picked the wrong day really, it was a bit cold and miserable, lovely walks there though. You should come to the Feelgood Festival in Rochdale this weekend, lots going on for children.

Hi never2old,
I'm the mum you've been kind enough to mention above. Thanks for telling people about Family Roundabout; I've had quite a few visitors to the site as a result. I really hope that it's been useful to everyone!
Thanks,
Anna

The start of the school holidays is just around the corner so for all grandparents who are looking for somewhere nice to take your grandchildren for the day I found a really informative website run by a mum of two under 5's.

She has taken her children to lots of places in the area, including some a little further afield in West Yorkshire. It's only just up the motorway or you could even let the train take the strain if you want to make a really fun and full day of it.

Just wondered if anyone else has any favourite places you enjoy going with your grandchildren.
