Solar panels on Burge Island, what do you think?

Unfortunately most projects that are seen as essential by most (green power) are not wanted in my back yard (NIMBY).
My personal view is whilst green energy projects will help and in the very long term may become more efficient, the only low carbon option is nuclear power, definitely not wanted on your doorstep, but there is no other way we currently have of generating the power demanded.

My mother is staying on Burgh Island around New Year - she's very excited!! She's always wanted to go to the art deco hotel there and now, finally, she will.
