I am your local editor and have lived in Colchester for 12 years. I am a born and bred Essex girl.
It would be great to find out who else is out there. I have met a few local gransnetters but would love others to say hi.

I am also an Essex girl now living on Mersea Island. I have only just joined the ranks of grand-parenthood as my first grandchild was born last July. Good to find gransnet and am enjoying it very much. Currently holidaying on St Lucia but will be back home Friday ? hope the weather is being kind at home!!

It is half term and we are decorating, so I will try to escape to join you.
Perhaps whoever is there first should try to nab space for at least 6!!
