Just had a look at the 'Museums' page here and was surprised to see only The Red House Museum listed. What about the wonderful Russell-Cotes Art Gallery and Museum on the seafront in Bournemouth? It's a great place to while away a few hours with a great collection of Art (including Gabriel Dante Rossetti's fabulous 'Venus Verticordia) and thousands of object collected by the Russell-Cotes families during their overseas journeys. There's also a lovely cafe for lunch or afternoon tea and great views over the beach and sea.
