Hello! Making retirement plans (6 years off thanks to the govt kindly raising my pension age) - & thinking of moving to Ormskirk which is about half an hour from where I live now. Currently live in a village/suburb which I've always loved but due to council cuts everything I value is closing - library shuts at the end of the month. My thinking is that living somewhere like Ormskirk would be better as more facilities & not far from Liverpool. Daughter lives on the Wirral so would be closer to her too. Anyone living there can recommend it please, or alternatively tell me not to touch it with a bargepole? ;) Thanks.
