There was a big piece in the Guardian yesterday about"Wraparound Care", the proposed changes in the Dorset healthcare system. I know local to me in Wareham, there has been controversy over the health hub, planned to replace the hospital as it did not include beds. There is also concern over changes at Swanage and Poole where departments are being closed and patients expected to go to Bournemouth, a long way for us rural folk particularly.I am all for a more holistic approach and saving the NHS money but as someone who has experienced the blue light ride more than once, I am concerned about these distances.
