Has anyone else come across this video clip on Facebook of the JFK asassination moment? I know that conspiracy theories abound, but this looks pretty compelling sad

That's shocking! No one is more cynical than me, but that does look convincing.

Bearing in mind that there could have been changes to the film but if that is the unaltered original then I hope someone takes a closer look. I wonder whether the first shot missed and the driver, trying to get the assailant, got JFK instead. Mind you, when it was suggested many moons ago that the moon landing was made up I wonder whether we can ever believe what we see or hear.

I'm very cynical too, but you have to wonder....

If it is real though, how likely is it that it could be kept under cover for 50 years?

confused

Maybe because technology has advanced and improved the quality of the film.

A few years ago we went to Dallas and visited the book depository where there is an exhibition(wrong word I think but can't think of a better one) showing photos, film and lots of different eye witness accounts etc. it was fascinating and having seen the supposed assassination site, we found it quite difficult to believe everything we, the public, were told. Speaking to local people they were convinced there was a lot more to this story than we will ever know.

Yes, could be.

There was a programme on tv last night about this (can't remember which channel) and it was very compelling indeed. I don't usually buy into conspiracy theories but the theory that this was a tragic accident could answer a lot of the inconsistencies in the accounts that have been put forward over the years. It could also explain why Lee Harvey Oswald had to be disposed of and how it was apparently made so easy for Jack Ruby to do so. Interesting stuff.

Can't help but feel that if it was this obvious it wouldn't have been spotted before.
I'd be interested to watch that programme though if anyone can remember which channel it was on?

I watched that program too and it sure did pose some interesting theories and why the enquiry didn't even see evidence or question witnesses who were close by when he was shot.
Aka if you saw the program you would see why the Secret Services, FBI or whoever wanted the whole thing covered up, the fact that they removed his body from the hospital where he died ,which was against the law, and the subsequent circus as they did the autopsy was quite astounding.
I think it will be many years before the truth is told.

Aka the programme was called 'JFK's Secret Killer' and was on Channel 5.

Sorry this is such a late response, but I have only just looked at gransnet again after entering a zombie-like state after work and now being wide awake (groan - why do I do this?)

Nightowl thank you. Sorry to hear you're in a zombie zone sad

One theory is JFK was assasinated because of his speech about the Secret Society and his wanting to take back control of the Federal Reserve which is privately owned.

Federal Reserve Bank (Inc.) A Murderous History?Banksters, the Worlds Worst Gangsters The Federal Reserve Bank is a consortium of twelve private banks which are not part of the United States Government.
