The former prime minister of Belguim and leader of the Liberal party here has stated that, 'Out is Out'
Why should if the Uk vote to leave the EU, they expect to be treated as though they never left, with border controls on mainland europe, special trade agreements, special immigration to suit the people the UK wants.
After all the Uk has special needs, as the comedians over here are enjoying.
I just attended a birthday party for my DGS best friend, Brazil, Scotland, Belguim, France, Morroco, Venezuela,China,Taiwan, Netherlands, Germany, and some parents who I did not get the chance to chat to.
I hope in the Uk, that a muticulural society will still be enjoyed. Yes that is normal in the uk, although if the right wing rise to the top which they may do in England there may be a return to awful times of, No Blacks, No dogs No Irish and no one with, 'a funny accent' which I hope for most rational thinking people is frightening.
Please look not to yourselves the world is a small place now, and our children and their children and children need all the space in our world they can get.
The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, no longer have an Empire, most countries in the Commonwealth are there for economic reasons, and were never part of 'The British Empire'.
I am stating my veiws and will not get into debate after posting this.
Just take the long view please.

felice the French minister has said the same and the German has said similar but according to Brexit they are just scaremongering to assist Cameron! What an excuse that will be when it proves to be the case if we vote out - 'oh - we didn't think you meant it'
I agree with all that you are saying about being a multicultural society - it is what we need to be.
I trust the party was a success!

Goodnight.

Just attended an international event with lots of young people from all over Europe and beyond. All of them, without a fail, just couldn't understand why, in their eyes (and mine) - people in the UK seemed hell bent on voting for economic suicide and cultural, social and political isolation. Listening to their dismay was very interesting. And all said too, if the UK wants OUT- we will make sure they will stay OUT, OUT and OUT some more.

Watching.

Those young people btw all love the UK, have visited or studied there- speak good English and are well educated. Many have been part of cross Europe research projects of massive value, related to medicine, agriculture or the environment and sciences.

You can hardly blame them if they do turn backs on us after all is that not what a lot of us want? They are really saying you can't have your cake and eat it aren't they?

Apologies to the late Marie Antoinette.
