Or was he just really pissed off with the lot of it?

poor boy

I don't know if the wee guy was really tired or fed up. I couldn't take my eyes off him. At one point I thought he may faint or be sick, but he held up well

kittylester Wed 09-Nov-16 12:30:45

I think he kept swallowing yawns! Poor lad.

Candlefran Wed 09-Nov-16 12:34:32

it didn't get any better at the end

He'd really had enough! grin

ninathenana Wed 09-Nov-16 12:42:28

Video didn't play

Elegran Wed 09-Nov-16 12:56:47

Poor lad. But that'll put him off politics for life - not all bad.

Synonymous Wed 09-Nov-16 13:01:37

He has probably come to the realisation that life, as he knows it, has changed for him for ever. sad

granjura Wed 09-Nov-16 13:05:04

Oh wow poor kid - and nobody seemed to care- was he feeling really sick- he looked like he was going to pass out, or even have an epileptic fit. And his mother didn't notice either.

Can someone lip read what he said?

rubysong Wed 09-Nov-16 13:10:18

It was about three in the morning there so I expect he was shattered. I felt sorry for him, (don't care for his dad though). I think there was an even smaller child there, possibly a Trump grandchild.

POGS Wed 09-Nov-16 13:18:31

Leave the poor kid alone.

rosesarered Wed 09-Nov-16 13:36:06

He was probably just tired, ....nobody can say 'his family didn't care' that's just getting another dig into Trump by the back door. You can insult Trump all you like, but how about leaving ALL his family out of it.

sunseeker Wed 09-Nov-16 14:44:31

My guess is he was bored and tired. I don't know how old he is but I think the last thing he wanted was to spend his time standing on a platform in the middle of the night while the adults around him talked on and on about something he has no interest in.

Marmight Wed 09-Nov-16 15:05:07

He's only 10. Should have been tucked up in bed ?

Candlefran Wed 09-Nov-16 17:05:02

POGS my "poor boy" in the OP was heartfelt.

Jalima Wed 09-Nov-16 19:29:34

Why do they have to parade their whole families?

Judthepud2 Wed 09-Nov-16 20:16:22

Yes I too couldn't take my eyes off the poor mite! He looked really tired and totally fed up!

Jalima Wed 09-Nov-16 20:17:31

Yes, poor child was swaying on his feet with tiredness.

merlotgran Wed 09-Nov-16 20:29:07

He certainly stole the show. Very young and obviously desperately tired but didn't let his family down. I hope they're proud of him.

His life will be totally different now poor lad.

Jalima Wed 09-Nov-16 20:32:20

Of course, he is 10 and I suppose it was a momentous occasion for his family and something he will always remember, however tired he was.

Deedaa Wed 09-Nov-16 21:13:41

The poor child must have been up for hours I should think.

BlueBelle Thu 10-Nov-16 04:57:50

I couldn't take my eyes off him either I thought he was going to have an asthma attack the way he was taking gulps of air in he was certainly nearly asleep on his feet he looked as if he was going to be sick at some points
Pogs no one was attacking the poor kid what a strange thing to say

Marelli Thu 10-Nov-16 07:10:55

I noticed that when Trump turned round after his speech, he touched him briefly on the arm, then embraced his wife. Trump moved on, and his wife turned to the boy, who looked as if he was expecting some sort of telling-off. We've maybe all been there - 'do at least TRY to look interested, love - I know you want to go back home to your X-box, but you'll just have to wait!' - sort of thing.

BlueBelle Thu 10-Nov-16 07:14:28

I thought the boy looked more ill than sleepy or disinterested he's very pale and not very strong looking He's very old for a 10 year old child

radicalnan Thu 10-Nov-16 09:37:51

Well, on the bright side at least they hadn't left him in the pub.

Neversaydie Thu 10-Nov-16 09:38:01

Tbf Mrs T (I can't remember her name)did appear to take his hand as they left the stage
Does he really have all those children?Or were some of those in-laws ?
What an 'interesting' background for a First Lady
