It's not funny and it's not what Jo Cox stood for. As I understand it, she took politics seriously. Of course, now that the Conservative Party has become a bit of a laughing stock, the Sun wants to portray everybody else in the same way.

Well I liked it! And Joe Cox had an excellent sense of humour and I'm pretty sure she'd have laughed too!

The killing of Jo Cox was an awful tragedy. Jo was a thoroughly good person where as her killer was a bigoted, evil person who illustrated the very worst elements in our divided society.

The real tragedy is that for all the rhetoric our society is still just as divided. Jo was publicly very pro European, pro humanity and that cost her dear.

The best legacy for Jo would be to genuinely try to heal the divisions. Hard Brexit and FPTP do not help.

One year on and I choose to remember her lovely smile. Her beauty shone from within. Sad loss for her family, her husband and children and friends and for democracy.

Jo Cox stood for everything that was genuine, caring and compassionate and sadly missing in some sections of society. Even those on the opposite side of the political divide acknowledged her humanity, drive and dedication.

The Sun stands intotal opposition to what Mrs Cox stood for. I have nothing to say about a Murdoch propaganda tool

I think it's a lovely tribute. It has taken a team effort to make that. The only political message is exactly what Jo wanted. Thanks, maw.

D'you know whitewave I could almost (almost but not really) forgive the Sun if I thought it published genuinely-held beliefs, but that's not the case.

Murdoch is simply out to line his own pickets by mining into the underlying racism and stupidity of a certain ignorant sector of society. And his readers just lap up his vomit as it's what they want to hear.

It's taking the piss about all politicians except Jo Cox. Satire is good.

Satire isn't meant to be funny. It's meant to make a point. Which this does.

It is no tribute to Jo at all, it's just a rag doing what it always does being hypocritical . It no more supports anything that she stood for than the terrorist who slaughtered her. In fact the Sun contributes on a daily basis to the hatred and division in our society that Jo stood so firmly against.
