There’s no fool like an old fool.is there?
Who does this man think he is fooling?
I won’t say exactly where I think he keep his brains but it’s roughly in the underpants area and I think it is absolutely incredible that he somehow believes he can still lead that apology for a party which is UKIP.
Plus, frankly, does he convince anybody as a romantic figure?

BlueBelle Mon 22-Jan-18 22:16:41

Not much to add to that Mawboon what a completely undesirable dickhead
And he’s little

Niobe Mon 22-Jan-18 22:21:16

I think that he is desperately clinging on to the leadership because he knows that that is what she is interested in. Not him. She will be off as soon as he is given the boot.

Chewbacca Mon 22-Jan-18 22:25:43

I think he's having a major mid life crisis!
Leave lovely wife and children - tick
Take up with young woman old enough to be his daughter - tick
Make a complete imbecile of himself - tick
Refuse to accept when he's burnt his boats and can't go back - tick

Wonder what his wife is making of it all?

Primrose65 Mon 22-Jan-18 22:30:51

Well, he certainly has to be up there for the nomination of 'Crash & Burn of the Year'.

Wonder what his wife is making of it all
A significant divorce settlement, hopefully!

MissAdventure Mon 22-Jan-18 22:33:24

His wife must be watching with a degree of satisfaction, I'm sure. I would be.

Jalima1108 Mon 22-Jan-18 22:40:23

I have been wondering what any of them see in him, as far as I'm concerned there is nothing appealing whatsoever. And don't answer 'power' grin

In fact, I had never heard of him until I read about him on a thread on GN - I think he must have been appointed leader when I was away and he hasn't exactly made his presence felt, unlike Farage who was everywhere like a rash.

lemongrove Mon 22-Jan-18 22:57:57

Hee-hee Jalima ( a rash)
I heard that Bolton had an OBE ( or MBE) and that his third wife and children live in Austria, not here.
He can hardly continue with no confidence in him.....or can he? Corbyn managed it after all!
I wonder if Farage will take up the reins of power yet again?
Never say never.grin

Jalima1108 Mon 22-Jan-18 23:00:44

According to the news, Henry Bolton wants to drain the swamp in the party.
Has he thought of resigning and doing it in one go?

MissAdventure Mon 22-Jan-18 23:02:27

grin

Primrose65 Mon 22-Jan-18 23:05:23

grin

Jalima1108 Mon 22-Jan-18 23:06:23

Actually, that's probably wrong!

lemongrove Mon 22-Jan-18 23:13:29

Jalima now where have we heard that phrase before??

Chewbacca Mon 22-Jan-18 23:33:27

He must be good at something though? He's had 3 wives, 2 of whom are Russian and 1 Danish, and wife no 2 says that he was unfaithful to her when they were together. He then left wife no 3 for Jo Marney and although he claimed to have split up from her, they've been seen out together "holding hands" very recently. Now... Adonis he 'ain't, so what's the attraction? confused personally, he makes my skin crawl

lemongrove Mon 22-Jan-18 23:34:39

What did he get a gong for? Anyone know?

Chewbacca Mon 22-Jan-18 23:38:25

3 wives and several mistresses and having the stamina to keep up lemon?

Chewbacca Mon 22-Jan-18 23:39:52

Services to National Security according to Wikki

Day6 Mon 22-Jan-18 23:41:28

Isn't it strange?

He doesn't have looks or power. Just imagining him being a smooth talker and out on the pull makes me cringe. You have to blame Jo Marney too for taking up with a married man. She has no scruples. I have yet to meet a woman who stays with a man only because he is a terrific lover, so I am ruling that one out too. (I didn't rule it in, if I am honest. <shudder> Can't see it being the case. grin )

How hurtful for his wife too. I hope divorce proceedings are on-going.

lemongrove Mon 22-Jan-18 23:54:34

grin oh you lot!

lemongrove Mon 22-Jan-18 23:55:25

National Security....army?MI5?

Chewbacca Tue 23-Jan-18 00:01:00

Bolton served in the Royal Hussars from 1979 to 1990, in both the UK and Germany.
After leaving the Army he joined the Territorial Army, and was commissioned in 1992 into the Wessex Regiment.[7] Two years later Bolton was promoted to captain.
Since leaving the regular army in 1990, he has undertaken security and policing roles. For eight years he was a police officer in the Thames Valley Police, during which time he received an award for outstanding bravery.[9] He worked with the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, during which he was seconded to hostile environments including Afghanistan.

He was awarded the OBE in the 2013 New Year Honours "for services to international security and stabilisation" as a Stabilisation Team Leader, Provincial Reconstruction Team, in Helmand Province, Afghanistan.

still doesn't explain how he's apparently so attractive to young women though

MissAdventure Tue 23-Jan-18 00:03:21

Well, on paper he sounds quite manly..

Chewbacca Tue 23-Jan-18 00:13:17

he was seconded to hostile environments.... he'll be feeling right at home at UKIP HQ right now then! grin

BlueBelle Tue 23-Jan-18 07:09:39

Why do so many of these men who spew forth about immigration marry foreign wives?
