Well, according to him, we have voted to "break up the EU"

Erm, no, the vote was just for leaving. Just goes to show how much of a grasp he has.

I despair, that such an ill informed person is in such a position

I feel sorry for the Queen, having to be polite to such a predatory, sexually assaulting, obnoxious oik.

BBC news just now
"I think they like me"

Er, no gringrin

pollyperkins Thu 12-Jul-18 18:17:42

There may be one or two that do.....but not many.

Fennel Thu 12-Jul-18 18:48:55

He just doesn't care, only about his own interests.

The way he says "Putin" puts my teeth on edge!

Oh how I wish he was traveling by car to some venues, it would have given those who proposed a "Show Your Rump To Trump" to get a bit of a tan in a different placegrin

Can you just imagine, the presidential car driving up the Mall, or the Long Walk at Windsor, with a line of people either side, turning their backs and dropping their trousers in a sort of Mexican Wave? grin

and farting

(sorry to lower the tone)

I couldn't believe the way Melania was dressed! A ridiculously tight dress and 8" heels to walk across a field from a helicopter and down aircraft steps. I really hate it when powerful women do this to themselves - it's akin to being shackled or the Japanese custom of having feet bound! I just cannot take anyone who dresses like this seriously.

Luckygirl Thu 12-Jul-18 20:43:32

Poot'n - don't you just love it!

Iam64 Thu 12-Jul-18 20:52:29

GrandmaKT - I try to avoid criticising other women's dress style. I've defended various members of the RF when threads have criticised them BUT I've just watched the Trumps arriving at Blenheim Palace and like you "I couldn't believe the way Melania was dressed"
What an attention seeking, fairy princess type frock on a mature woman. Embarrassing and totally over the top. She looked like little girls do when they choose a Princess Frock to dress up in.
Dreadful dreadful people.
I wish Theresa had worn a frock with sleeves. No criticism of her arms, none the older women should cover their upper arms approach from me. I just thought the high profile, serious nature of this meeting could have been better marked if her frock had a sleeve.
Having said that - she and Philip looked like rather nice, ordinary people waiting to greet a property developer and his trophy wife. Ah yes......

Jalima1108 Thu 12-Jul-18 22:12:52

I reminds me of George W and 'nucular' hmm

Jalima1108 Thu 12-Jul-18 22:14:10

Iam64 I did think that Theresa should be careful of that rather high split in her skirt

Deedaa Thu 12-Jul-18 22:14:33

Haven't seen the Blenheim outfit yet but I did think someone should have warned her that travelling by helicopter would mean walking across fields. She was lucky it's been so dry!

I see Farage says that Trump is absolutely right so we'd better all sit up and take notice!

Jalima1108 Thu 12-Jul-18 22:15:47

Ah well, if Farage has said so it must be right

ninathenana Thu 12-Jul-18 22:16:56

As in root'n, toot'n Jalima smile

merlotgran Thu 12-Jul-18 22:19:36

I think Theresa May ought to make sure she stays well behind the Donald with that big slit up the back of her dress shock

Jalima1108 Thu 12-Jul-18 22:20:48

My thoughts exactly merlotgran shock
can't be too careful with those hands nearby

nigglynellie Thu 12-Jul-18 22:24:48

I thought Melania looked absolutely lovely. That was a beautiful dress and a fab colour. She's certainly the best looking first lady since Jackie Kennedy. I agree Mrs May needs to be a bit careful of that high split!! I thought she looked rather drab alongside Melania.

Jalima1108 Thu 12-Jul-18 22:26:45

Just had a look - yes, I agree she looks lovely for a black tie dinner and perhaps sleeveless was not the way for the PM to go.

merlotgran Thu 12-Jul-18 22:38:41

I like Melania's dress apart from the drapes hanging from each shoulder. Lovely colour.

merlotgran Thu 12-Jul-18 22:42:58

I'm amazed that TM hasn't got her arms covered. Shawls are de rigeur at military dinners if arms are uncovered so I would have thought the same etiquette applies.

Juggernaut Thu 12-Jul-18 22:50:05

I've just watched the idiot arriving at Blenheim and it suddenly dawned on me, I absolutely loathe him!
I've always disliked him, but looking at that pushed up, ugly face and seeing how superior to the rest of the world he thinks he is, makes me want to scream, or possibly throw up!
I freely admit that I don't think he should have been admitted to this country. Anyone who thinks it in any way appropriate to keep children 'caged' has no place amongst right thinking people!
Going to bed now, before I get even more angry at the thought of what an obnoxious fart he really is and stop myself sleeping!

Jalima1108 Thu 12-Jul-18 22:51:53

he reminds me of a pugnacious 2 year old Juggernaut

phoenix Thu 12-Jul-18 23:45:59

Shall we from an orderly queue to give him a right good slap?

Or perhaps hold a virtual auction as to to will get the chance to do it?

Opening bids, ladies!

I would forgo a whole month without chocolate, even that rather lovely dark choc with orange and almonds from Lidl that Mr P keeps adding to the trolley.

Deedaa Fri 13-Jul-18 00:07:40

Right now I've seen the dresses! I wasn't that bothered by Melania's although I think she could have done better, but what was Theresa thinking? A shapeless maroon sack, the neckline was dreadful, the bodice didn't fit at all and the slit up the back was way too high and verging on the obscene. She's one of those unfortunate people who spends a lot on clothes and never gets it right.

Grandma70s Fri 13-Jul-18 05:53:59

Melania only exists to look good. She’s an ornament. That’s her function. I’m not an admirer of Theresa May, but at least she’s real, as is her husband. I thought May’s dress was. OK, and she’s still young enough to get away with the bare arms-at least they aren’t fat or flabby.

I’ll be very impressed if I ever see a woman in the public eye who doesn’t wear ridiculously high heels. I agree they seem like shackles or bound feet. Pathetic.

It was very bad manners on the part of Trump to keep Mrs May and numerous other people waiting so long standing on the forecourt of Blenheim Palace.
