Theresa May will lose the vote on Tuesday.

Do you agree?

And then what will happen next........let’s see whose prediction is the closest. Perhaps let this thread run about 2 weeks and see who got it right, or nearly right.

Declare a winner just before Christmas.

Over to you ?

I predict a riot smile

Actually I haven't the foggiest, but will be interesting to see which Gransnetter has the best
Crystal Ball.

oldbatty Fri 07-Dec-18 13:34:23

I predict Corbyn will get into bed with JRM and the large Irish lady.

Charleygirl5 Fri 07-Dec-18 13:48:46

I think we will remain in Europe.

Jane10 Fri 07-Dec-18 13:55:32

I hope we'll remain in Europe but not sure exactly how that will happen.
Alternatively, Theresa May's
little bit brexit/little bit remain might just make it? Might both sides cancel each other out? Och it's just a great big don't know. confused

Anniebach Fri 07-Dec-18 14:02:40

I predict we will be a little bit in and a little bit out

merlotgran Fri 07-Dec-18 14:04:49

I predict we're all going to be losing the will to live by the time something is finally sorted.

nigglynellie Fri 07-Dec-18 14:09:58

Economically maybe stay in Europe! Politically NO! NO! NO!!

tanith Fri 07-Dec-18 14:10:27

I think nothing will change and we will remain

Jane10 Fri 07-Dec-18 14:13:57

A brexit hokey cokey?!

Anja Fri 07-Dec-18 14:24:52

Keep ‘em coming.

I’ll predict Theresa May will be forced out and there will be a General Election with the promise of a new vote....

Framilode Fri 07-Dec-18 14:28:46

I think TM will go. I think there will be a second referendum.

notanan2 Fri 07-Dec-18 14:35:58

I dont think we will remain...or leave....I think we'll be in limbo a long time!

Labaik Fri 07-Dec-18 14:46:40

Second referendum; the leave lot are already planning their campaign which is going to tell us what a great nation we are etc. I just hope that The Sun's attempt to stir up civil unrest when remain win is unsuccessful; I still have just enough faith in the British people to think that won't happen.

GrannyGravy13 Fri 07-Dec-18 14:46:54

I do not think there will be a second referendum.

Nobody wants TM's job atm, not even JC

lemongrove Fri 07-Dec-18 14:52:45

Well, so far we have had every possibility there is! grin
I think that May’s deal should be accepted by the House,
But have no conviction that it will be.
Since a GE election would solve nothing, can’t see that as an outcome.

loopyloo Fri 07-Dec-18 14:57:37

I think things will be modified before the vote. I don't think TM can afford a cataclysmic loss. Somehow the can will be kicked down the road. I think we will end up with a Norway type agreement.

loopyloo Fri 07-Dec-18 14:58:53

By Christmas 2019 please or even 2020.

MiniMoon Fri 07-Dec-18 15:00:22

Has JC laid out his plan for Brexit? He doesn't like TM's deal, so what would his party like to see done? Does he have an answer to the NI backstop problem?
I think that TM will win, but I wouldn't like to bet on it.

Marmight Fri 07-Dec-18 15:32:19

We'll eventually remain, but when? as will TM - for a while. No one wants her job, even JC, for all his blustering, so long as that ghastly McDonnell man doesn't get his foot in the door. I see more troubled times ahead. What a bl***y shambles. Cameron should be ashamed ....

Chewbacca Fri 07-Dec-18 15:44:28

Cameron isn't ashamed Marmight. If he had felt any shame, he'd have apologised for what he's done months or years ago. He hasn't. He's only criticised how TM for how she's dealt with the pile of shit he left her with. angry

nigglynellie Fri 07-Dec-18 15:47:08

What on earth would a G.E solve?! Unless of course labour have got a secret deal running with the EU! As it appears, the EU are not prepared to negotiate any further with the UK, so whoever goes to Brussels will, it would seem, be told to ' go away!' which will resolve precisely nothing!!
Why does everyone call another referendum a people's vote? Is it to appear folksy, cosy and all inclusive? A bit like 'call me Dave' or is the word referendum deemed too difficult for the ignorant homophobic, IQ deficient brexiteers to understand? Personally I find dumbing it down pretty patronising!
As DH said, (frivolously) Come back Guy Fawkes, all is forgiven!!

nigglynellie Fri 07-Dec-18 15:58:01

Cameron is the most appalling coward/completely arrogant fool that ever set foot in the H of C. Setting up a referendum without proper guidelines, a ballot paper where only one answer could be given as the alternative was impossible, then, having created a load of shite, running for the hills, and now criticising Mrs May, who had to pick up this shite and who has more courage in her little finger than that oaf has in the whole of his miserable body, for not doing her job properly!! Frankly he needs putting in the Tower for treason! Awful, awful man!

Opal Fri 07-Dec-18 16:07:11

Dear God, please don't let the far left Labourites get in, even a no deal would be better than that for the country. Jeez …

notanan2 Fri 07-Dec-18 16:09:20

I will vote for pretty much anyone else to keep labour OUT they are scary at the mo!
I dont think I am alone. I will tactically vote against them even if that means voting for someone I usually wouldnt vote for.
Sincerely, an ex labour voter.
