SNP MP's and MSP's give the rises to charities in their constituencies. They have done since 2007.Even the First Minister doesn't take a rise and is being paid at 2007 rates .Maybe other parties could do the same ,even a few thousand pounds to a foodbank would make a difference ,after all the rest of us have to manage on a wage WITHOUT the massive expenses so losing their rise wouldn't be a hardship!

So
Every MP's pay is going up by 2.7% from April 1 to a total salary of £79,468
The increase is based on average public sector earnings and outstrips inflation
But it is a better increase than many public officials - including police who got 2%

Not bad for some?
What do you think?
If the need any pay rises, then simply sack half of them is what I think!
The country has been governed from Brussels for the past 47 years. The whole system is out of control. We have........... Parish councils..........District councils............County councils...............Regional assemblies.....................Westminster...............House of Lords............Then the biggest waste of space of them all.......................BRUSSELS.............PURE MADNESS.
