Bercow disgraceful divulgence!!!

I thought he was out of order.

Not only personal and insulting, although MPs are verbally abusive to each other but surely the Speaker should be above all that, but, as you say, involving someone's children like that was quite shocking.

Sarah Vine aka Mrs.Gove is spitting feathers on twitter, rightly so in my opinion.

I missed this, but DH told me as he thought it was disgraceful.
I think so too.MP’s as adults and public figures must always expect ‘flak’ but where their children go to school is a no-no.

I think he is brilliant. Excellent at keeping the puerile and arrogant behaviour in order.

The Tories hate him , of course they do. He stands for the sovereignty of the people in the form of parliament. They continually try to undermine this authority and he frustrates them at every turn..

I seem to recall Sarah Vine writing an article in a national newspaper about which school they attend. I remember specifically because a close relation's daughter goes there as does David Cameron's daughter, I believe, or used to before he resigned. It's a top class state school, but DC may have moved her to private now he doesn't need to be PC!

If Sarah Vine did write an article in which she mentioned the school her children attend, then that was entirely up to her.
The Speaker announcing it publicly on tv is another matter entirely.

Bercow is brilliant at defending the people against an overpowerful government. All power to him.

I was disgusted at Bercow's rant to Gove last night. That man has to go.
He is a trumped up arrogant bully.

He undermines the role if Speaker, as we don't want to hear his personal opinions. He's there to preside over debates and perform procedural functions, not to shout and give us his uncalled for point of view in that pretentious tone.

There must be a way to get rid of him. Isn't there a current investigation into reports of his bullying tactics...?
