Boris Johnson - Wheat fields or worse?

Theresa May said the naughtiest thing she had done was to run through a field of wheat. On the Sophie Ridge programme on Sunday Boris Johnson refused to reveal the naughtiest thing he has done.

Perhaps he needs his memory jogging.
What do Gransnetters think is the worst thing he’s done?

Turning this country on its head !

lemongrove Mon 04-Nov-19 18:57:24

We can’t possibly know what the worst thing is without being psychic.

Whitewavemark2 Mon 04-Nov-19 20:11:00

At the moment it is suppressing a report which undoubtedly will show the Vote Leave rabble were fraudulent, and Russian involvement

Whitewavemark2 Mon 04-Nov-19 20:11:28

We are actually spoiled for choice aren’t we?

Callistemon Mon 04-Nov-19 20:18:57

Spilling red wine on a white sofa.

Just unforgivable imo.

Yes lemongrove we probably don’t know what is absolutely the worst thing he’s done, but there are plenty of examples.
Lying to the Queen that his reason for prorogation of Parliament was to prepare a Queen’s Speech must be pretty bad for a PM.

lemongrove Mon 04-Nov-19 20:51:24

There are worst things! For instance how about the sainted Corbyn, inviting the IRA to tea in the House of Commons after a particularly horrible bombing?
How about the same politician desperately trying to pretend to an embarrassed and amazed Parliament that Russia had no hand in the Salisbury poisonings?
How about the same man tolerating anti-semitism within his own Party?
Laying wreaths at the graves of Palestinian bombers?
I could go on....but you get the drift.

Am sure Johnson has many, many failings, but nothing that comes near to Corbyns.

lemongrove Mon 04-Nov-19 20:52:05

Callistomen ?

lemongrove Mon 04-Nov-19 21:00:37

We could add Jo Swinson to the thread as well ( in the interests of balance.) ?

Grandad1943 Mon 04-Nov-19 21:04:59

How about promising this nation on television that there would be a full investigation of what many believe to be rampant Islamophobia within the Tory Party membership.

Of course, that promise was made when Johnson was campagning for the leadership of the party. Having now gained that position, such pledges are just cast aside, after all, it is just another lie and nothing in his book to concern himself about

Nortsat46 Mon 04-Nov-19 22:36:00

Lying to and manipulating the Queen ranks pretty high ...

varian Tue 12-Nov-19 19:51:16

Hiding the report on Russian involvement in the fraudulent referendum should be added to the list

grapefruitpip Tue 12-Nov-19 20:00:46

Ah lemon, you appear to have the had the Corbyn bashing standard handed to you.....did you have a little ceremony?

Anniebach Tue 12-Nov-19 20:17:21

Could he be the man who Abbott said her finest half hour was with a naked man in a field in the Cotswolds ?

SirChenjin Tue 12-Nov-19 20:21:28

Lying to the Queen was pretty bad - there’s no denying that.

As for which of the the rest of the whoppers the loathsome pond life has told us is worst - it’s like trying to rank your children in favourite order, you just can’t do it.

Putting milk in tea without removing the teabag!

SirChenjin Tue 12-Nov-19 20:48:08

Is that a bad thing to do?! blush

JenniferEccles Tue 12-Nov-19 20:55:00

I would say changing his mind about applying for the Tory leadership soon after the referendum.

Had he applied and been voted in, there is every chance we would have left the EU years ago.

So yes, that was extremely naughty of him.

Oopsminty Tue 12-Nov-19 21:00:02

I would say changing his mind about applying for the Tory leadership soon after the referendum.

Wasn't that because Gove, who was supposed to be his key ally, suddenly decided to stand himself?

Not straightaway, let it brew a bit first but I like to see how strong it is; not always as sometimes I use loose tea and the teapot.

Putting milk in tea without removing the teabag!

Is that a faux pas? blush

Chewbacca Tue 12-Nov-19 22:08:50

At least you take the tea bag out Callistemon. I don't

Callistemon Tue 12-Nov-19 22:12:32
