Boris Johnson admitted to hospital

Crikey poor Boris. He did look poorly. I guess he has gone to have a scan which will give an indication of the severity.
Anyone know which hospital out of interest? Tommy's on Westminster Bridge Road?

Poor Boris. Must be serious. Nobody admitted to hospital these days unless its serious. Get well soon Boris.
What an extra responsibility for hospital staff. Best wishes to them too.

As others have said, he really hasn't looked well for days. Hope he recovers soon.

I'd said in a post yesterday I think, that he looked quite unwell.
It's worrying at this stage.

One of my best, oldest friends hasn't been well since Monday. She had a video consult with her family doctor on Fri. morning due to very high fever for days, a bad cough and chest pain on and off since Thursday. I spoke to her yesterday and she's going for the test tomorrow. Really worried because both DH and I texted today just to see how she's doing and we haven't gotten a response from either of them.

I hope this is only precautionary, all his family must be worried. ?

Very worrying; not surprisingly, he looked exhausted.

This is so awful, dreadful news. He hasn’t looked well for a while and has tried to carry on when he should have been resting. Poor Boris, I really hope he’ll get through this safely - we need him now more than ever.

He shouldn't have been left with a high temperature for days. 3 days maximum I'd have said.

I'm sure he had pretty much the best medical supervision available. He'll not have been just left EllanVannin!

The infection seems to have two stages. With most people, they get over Covid-19 in the first five to seven days. With others, it moves into a second stage if the patients own immune system has not defeated the virus in that first week it would seem.

The second stage can be then very much more dangerous. Let us all hope that Boris has not moved into that second stage.

That is what I understood too.

I do hope he gets better, he has looked really unwell on the television and obviously was. I’ll pray for him tonight. Get well Boris

He looked dreadful last photo I saw. It’s impossible to know how ill he really is - I don’t think he could have done anything different to prevent this admission . From all the accounts I’ve read, the illness either progresses or it doesn’t, so hospital must be the best place for him now. He’ll be well looked after and I think MH is easily the best of a bad bunch to hold the reins at the moment.

I thought Dominic Raab is in charge.

Like others have said he hasn’t looked at all well lately and of course he has been working when he should have been resting.

JE your post made me consider if there was anyone I wouldn’t wish well. I have to say yes, Trump. His behaviour during this crisis has been beyond dreadful.And have you noticed, he never ever expresses a word of sympathy for those who have died? I think he’s actually evil and I don’t wish him well at all.

I couldn’t and wouldn’t wish anyone (and I mean anyone) this awful virus.

We’ve also thought he looked ill. More good wishes from me. Carrie must be more than worried. Not a good situation for any couple with a baby on the way.

Sometimes I feel like I have the weight of the world on my shoulders. I can’t imagine what BJ must feel right now. Poor man .
