I posted this on another thread but I thought I’d start afresh. I’m not expecting anyone to change their minds, but in the interest of balance . . .

Richard Horton has accused the government of trying to rewrite history with this rebuttal. They do quite him, as editor of the Lancet, but he has asked many questions about the government response.

I read that and was quite curious about Richard Horton so I read his Wiki page. He has been involved in some very serious issues and has had to publicly retract things he’s written or said, it makes for quite alarming reading actually. There is no way that this man is impartial and I couldn’t imagine him wanting to be associated with the current govt so I’m not at all surprised at his rebuttal.

Horton published the controversial Wakefield report on the MMR vaccine, which suggested it could cause autism in children.
It took him 6 years to retract it.
