Apparently an investigation will not ask for her resignation the report has been leaked to a newspaper. It sounds like a white wash. Labour have asked for full publication But will this just slip away under the radar with all the virus publicity?

Well, yes, but at least the shoplifting figures have been reduced on her watch as she told us the other day!

Might that have something to do with most of the shops being shut!!

TwiceAsNice I wonder why that is- any bright ideas?!

Some people are so negative!

This should publicised but probably won’t be - why do all parties think they can bury bad news during ‘interesting’ times?

Will Priti get away with it?

Yes

Yes but she shouldn't. Unless the report is made public she will remain Teflon coated. The whole government must be brought to account over COVID-19 handling and Brexit. If found guilty then prosecuted for Treason. It won't happen.

Unfortunately there are several on here who think that the current government can do no wrong and no doubt think it's treasonable to criticize them. She'll get away with it.

Yes, she will get away with it as usual! How can anyone shoplift when the shops are closed???

trisher Thu 30-Apr-20 10:52:30

I was just thinking do you suppose she will have the nerve to claim crime figures have reduced under her watch? Conveniently forgetting about lockdown.
I like "Teflon coated"

I’m sure she’ll get away with it and shouldn’t. I don’t suppose now is the time for getting rid of ministers but after this is over Matt Hancock and Bouncy Boris are first against the wall for me.

Yes, I rather think that she will. I think that the current constructive dismissal claim will shine a light in some corners though.
