So Rishi appears to have spent a small fortune bringing his temporary abode up to standard.

He’s loaded and covered the whole cost himself and will now be crucified for having been a financial wizard in a previous life and marriage to an heiress.

No win springs to mind...

It is Mr.Sunak’s money to spend as he wishes.
He has not used Tax Payers money, I have no problem with this.

Not by me he won’t. People with loads of money have always been around, my problem is when they don’t/can’t empathise with those who don’t have enough money.

Lucca having money, being wealthy does not cauterise ones empathy gene.

Sunak can spend as much as he wishes of his own money.

I do.

But what I don’t do and neither apparently does Sunak is to do up his temporary flat, get the invoice, find he can’t pay it then ask for donations which he fails to declare as gifts under the ministerial code.

He can have as questionable and expensive taste as he wishes.

But he can’t break the law.
