A 44,000-word report will "make for very uncomfortable reading" among the Tory leadership and party members, its author says.

We were promised an independent enquiry- but this has not, and probably will never, happen- and we all know the reason.

Makes a change from the anti-semitism debacle and the Labour party no wonder people say politicians are all the same. Except they're not of course, Labour doesn't have a stranglehold on the media.

Exactly keepingquiet.

I would be very surprised if the shocking findings of this report were to make the front pages of The Telegraph. The Daily Mail, The Express, The Times or The Sun.

Don’t worry , the Mirror, the Guardian , the Independant and any other left wing paper will have a field day. More than enough to please those who read them

The Mirror and the Guardian are the only slightly left wing papers Lin52

The Independent and the "i" are politically neutral, but I do realise that to a reader of the right wing persuasion, any neutral or balanced coverage of news is considered left wing, in the same way as they accuse the Brexit Broadcasting Corporation (long dominated by Tory political commentators) to be left wing and pro-Remain.

the very small number of responses to this thread says so much in itself.

Isn't it about time this childishness had it's day ?
At one time, there were many Jews in the Labour party when Gerald Kaufman was an MP, but nothing was ever said or discussed about who was Jewish or from Timbuktu, so why all this droning on over race all the time----it's sickening as well as boring ?

Take no damn notice is what I'd tell the world and get on with the job in hand, live and let live and mind your own business. It's pick, pick pick at every turn nowadays and that is supposed to be news !!

Thousands of people are struggling to live, we don't need millionaires in power to tell those in poverty how to live etc.
Helping them more than they do would be more to the point instead of discussing a nothingness such as someone's race.

I do not like Full Face hijab as I feel unsure who is under it. My experience taught me to fear anyone covering their face - the archetypal 'bad man'. I don't have any problem with beliefs - people's own business - unless the belief is that some out group should be killed.
