She made a tearful speech saying she would regret her lighthearted comments for the rest of her life.

My heart bleeds….

LauraNorderr Wed 08-Dec-21 16:43:39

Mine too..

Lucca Wed 08-Dec-21 16:44:32

Us? Sarcastic ? Surely not,

JenniferEccles Wed 08-Dec-21 16:45:33

Regrets her comments or regrets that they’ve come to light?

NotTooOld Wed 08-Dec-21 16:46:53

Oh, dear, poor woman - if it was a genuine mistake. Was it all made up?
Incidentally, wasn't Boris's first wife called Allegra?

lemongrove Wed 08-Dec-21 16:47:54

It was madness to do what she did in the first place.

MissAdventure Wed 08-Dec-21 16:48:54

Cry me a river...
I'm welling up here.

Kali2 Wed 08-Dec-21 16:49:23

sacrificial lamb to protect the PM- what she said was so wrong- but she was not responsible for allowing the event to go ahaead- nor for the denial.

Kalu Wed 08-Dec-21 16:49:51

It was all a jolly jape to her!

One down……

Tories are expert at shooting the messenger.

Quite!!

MissAdventure Wed 08-Dec-21 16:52:22

She is responsible for simpering and laughing about it all.
Not so amusing now.

Galaxy Wed 08-Dec-21 16:52:40

Tories are also expert at removing what they see as a lame duck, heres hoping.

MerylStreep Wed 08-Dec-21 16:56:06

She started her speech blubbering but soon got over it: lier ?

love0c Wed 08-Dec-21 16:57:32

I say leave her alone. She is not the enemy. The enemy is still in control!

Who was responsible for organising it then?
It’s unknown at the moment.....that’s what investigations are for.

Rather shallow I know but she’s wearing my jumper. Christmas present to myself.

Chewbacca Wed 08-Dec-21 17:10:07

Poor little poppet. She could nip round to that other lying, duplicitous tow rag who had to drive to Barnard Castle to see if his eyes were working properly; he'll be able commiserate with her. And if he's not in, she could go for a blub at Gina & Hancock's gaff.

Ooh!
That’s nice!
Celtic?

winterwhite Wed 08-Dec-21 17:26:03

She's has been left to take the bullet for the whole of no.10 yet she had barely been there five minutes and wasn't a mover or shaker. Hers was the head it all came down on so she has no choice but to resign, but is she to be the only one. I assume the video was taken by one of her colleagues, but with friends like those...

I think it’s Fair Isle. It’s lovely.

On a more serious note I do think this party business is disgraceful - it’s indefensible.
