Dave Gilmour, you’d know those riffs anywhere, very moving.

I’m from Cambridge so remember them well. Went to school with Dave Gilmour’s sister, my only brush with fame!

Just watched this. Thank you Jaxjacky

Such a moving song and wonderful to hear the Pink Floyd 'sound' again.

Always been a fan

It says much about the gentlemen of Pink Floyd that they have allowed Andriy Khlyvnyuk's voice be the absolute centre of attention. It's utterly haunting.

I am really pleased they have released their music to help the Ukraine.
I don’t understand this though Has this been changed?
^A Ukrainian band who appealed to take part in a benefit concert have been told they cannot feature.
Antytila, who are serving as soldiers, had asked to be included live from Kyiv in the fundraiser, which takes place in Birmingham next week^
But singer Taras Topolya said they had been refused a slot as the concert had a "purely humanitarian" purpose.

It wasn’t changed, the concert was on the 29th March for the DEC, Disaster Emergency Committee, who as a charity must be totally neutral and not in anyway seem to condone military action.
Antytila, are serving soldiers and would have performed in combat gear; they were excluded for that reason.

I went to HMV this morning to buy a copy but they didn't have it.
I believe you must be able to buy it as there is a picture of the cover online.
It is a very beautiful piece of music, the singing is very haunting and David Gilmour's guitar playing is wonderful.
I am a huge Pink Floyd fan.

We are Pink Floyd fans as well but the headline that they have reunited is a bit misleading since Roger Waters doesn’t seem to be involved. It’s a shame David Gilmour and Roger Waters couldn’t reconcile their differences for such an important song.

I must be very unusual. I have never been a Pink Floyd fan at all. The music drones on and does nothing for me. However, if other people enjoy it and they are using music to do good, well that's great. Enjoy folks.

I agree, it’s always a shame when they can’t put aside their differences and join a reunion. Life is too short and some former members have died. Waters did reunite with the band for Live 8 in 2005 I believe.
