15 minutes about the Queen ageing etc.

10 secs about the world heating up to catastrophic levels.

Oh well.

I noticed that too! OH and I couldn’t quite believe it. We all know the Queen is on her last legs and there is nothing that can be done. The planet may be on its last legs and there are things we can do!

But surely we all know that the planet is heading for catastrophe too? It is fairly recent news that the Queen isn't undertaking as much as she did before Prince Philip died.

We’ve heard it all before about the planet, for decades in fact.

If you look on I-Player you will see that the Beeb has produced/shown several documentaries on climate change.
Some of them are no longer available.

The Queen is in the news due to her not reading The Queens Speech at the opening of parliament today.

It is news as we are witnessing her gradual withdrawal from her duties.

The Earth’s demise is constantly in the news/headlines.

The fact that we might hit 1.5 degrees in the next five years is a really big deal though.

There have been many excellent programmes about the danger our planet is in, BBC and other channels.
It's simply that the queen is particularly in the news at present because of concerns about her health and her not doing the opening of parliament today, and the forthcoming jubilee.

The BBC does a good job and keeps the commercial side up to scratch. It needs protection from Johnson and the likes of Nadine Dorries.
