After all they dont EVER have a good word to say about us ...and that includes their unionist "SCOTS" who it seems are delighted to tell us that we cant do anything right

Answers on a postage stamp ...or a postcard if you can find a true reason

Are the SHOUTY CAPITALS Saturday night capitals?

Aveline Sat 26-Nov-22 21:07:48

Nah. Just her usual SHOUTY capitals. Says a lot.

Jaxjacky Sat 26-Nov-22 21:09:14

Oh dear..

MaizieD Sat 26-Nov-22 21:18:00

The responses say a lot about the responders...

IrishDancing Sat 26-Nov-22 21:20:05

I think the responses only say that they’re fed up being shouted at - by anybody, about anything!

Katie59 Sat 26-Nov-22 21:24:17

Scotland does make good Whisky, they have quite a lot of oil and gas, otherwise I can’t think why we need them.

Jaxjacky Sat 26-Nov-22 21:25:53

IrishDancng It says about me shouting is not appreciated.

I think most long term posters, which includes some responders, are perfectly used to paddyann's style by now. No need to be rude to her...

It's because we love you.

And your whisky 🙂

Callistemon21 Sat 26-Nov-22 21:47:42

And your whisky 🙂

Well, I don't personally, but DH does.

Aside from whisky we also have haggis suppers, tablet, cranachan, Loch Fyne Ales, ashet pies, proper butchers, Morton's rolls and the best free bus rides anywhere (926 Glasgow to Campbeltown particularly recommended and 916 Glasgow to Uig is excellent too). We also do a braw cèilidh complete with men in kilts and everybody tying themselves in knots stripping the willow and not caring.

I'm so glad I moved here and I wouldn't go back, not now.

Callistemon21 Sat 26-Nov-22 22:04:43

Shall we be allowed to have Burns suppers in Wales?

We do have a large number of ex-pat Scots here.

Callistemon21 Sat 26-Nov-22 22:06:02

We do that here too.

😲 do you think Burns Suppers, cèilidhs, whisky, haggis and tartan will be banned outside Scotland if they gain independence, LadyHonoriaDedlock?

Please, no.

LadyHonoriaDedlock Sat 26-Nov-22 22:08:46

You can have a Burns Supper anywhere you like, so long as you can get a decent haggis.

LadyHonoriaDedlock Sat 26-Nov-22 22:11:13

Callistemon21 of course not, silly! They're our proudest exports. Except the tartan – that was a product of the Yorkshire woollen industry.

I have enjoyed a very acceptable Welsh haggis bought from an English market stall.

Callistemon21 Sat 26-Nov-22 22:12:17

silly

Nice.

Callistemon21 Sat 26-Nov-22 22:13:34

I cannot believe how some people take posts so literally.

🤔

Hear hear but it is the go to response for some.

Callistemon21 Sat 26-Nov-22 22:18:30

I'm not being rude to paddyann btw

I hope she knows that
I know that she does have SOH

Esspee Sat 26-Nov-22 22:22:18

Does the green electricity which we export or the essential water count?

Shouty capitals in posts are consciously designed to put peoples backs up though, which is also rude and unnecessary.

Lucca Sat 26-Nov-22 22:26:59

I don’t necessarily see them like that. Just that someone feels strongly about an issue ?

Smileless2012 Sat 26-Nov-22 22:27:59

I've no idea paddyann why don't you ask them.
